The CHYRON Management Corp.

Ours is a history of solving problems that create obstacles to quality health care.
The CHYRON Management Corporation was originally founded in 2003 by Chief Executive Officer Dr. Matthew Holder and Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Henry Hood as the CHYRON Group, LLC. Since its inception, the company’s principal mission has been the creation of public and private partnerships, which promote an improvement in the quality of health and life for Americans with intellectual and other disabilities. Our expertise, and the bulk of our work has focused on the creation and management of patient care, teaching and research programs serving people with specials needs.
Drs. Holder and Hood have conducted numerous national research efforts that have identified disparities in access to services and supports for community-based individuals with intellectual disabilities; and they have developed clinical, legal, educational, and public policy protocols, programs and program models, which have addressed those disparities.
Drs. Holder and Hood have worked at the national level with numerous organizations and entities, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Special Olympics International, the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, the President’s Commission on Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, the Office of the Surgeon General, Exceptional Parent Magazine, the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association, and the United States Air Force.
The CHYRON Management Corporation has consulted with multiple national and state leaders and entities in the development and management of educational, residential, clinical, and combined residential / clinical programs, and in the establishment of public policy focused on the community integration of Americans with intellectual and other disabilities.
